Andriette DeShaun Clifton, affectionately known as "Dee", was born March 1, 2000 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life on February 11, 2020.
From the time she was born, her spirit filled a room. She excelled in art from the time she picked up a pencil. As early as the age of three, Dee had a love for all forms of music, particularly jazz.
At the age of 16, she confessed her love of Christ and became a faithful and committed member of Bethany Community Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. She was a member of the Ushers' Ministry (of course with the perfect smile to greet others), the Children's' Ministry (they all loved her), and the Hospitality Committee (the youngest and always willing and prepared to help).
Dee loved spending time with her family. She began her love for travel at an early age with her Aunt Sebrenda! Always ready to hop a flight and go! Because of her independence, she began working at McDonald's at the age of 15 and was great with her customer service. She yearned to become an entrepreneur in the fashion industry and a personal stylist especially hair and make-up. She graduated from Bunn High School and was to start her career path in Cosmetology at Vance-Granville Community College.
She leaves to cherish in her memory: her loving mother, Dana Clifton of Louisburg, NC; father, Thaddeus Parham (Tawana) of Dallas, TX; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Ethel Bobo of Fayetteville, NC; sister, D'Andrea Parham of Cary, NC; aunts, Lucy Dumisani (Sizwe) of Washington, DC, Sebrenda Clifton of Durham, NC, Daphne Pugh of Raleigh, NC, Yvette Parham (Shawn) of Raleigh, NC; uncles, Ronnie M. Clifton (Janice) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Howard Reade, Jr. of Durham, NC; numerous cousins, other loved ones and friends.
