Willie Morris “Buck” Richardson, son of the late Alexander and Lizzie Rudd Richardson, was born December 28, 1936 in Halifax County, North Carolina. He departed this life December 19, 2018 at the age of eighty at the Louisburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisburg, North Carolina.
He received his education in the Halifax County School System. After graduating from Eastman High School, Willie moved to Baltimore, Maryland. He later married Odell Hendricks and to this union four children were born.
His career involved working in the steel and paint industries until declining health took his life in a different direction. He then returned to North Carolina and became a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Arcola, North Carolina. He loved reading his Bible, talking to and teaching people about God.
He leaves to hold onto his memories: one daughter, Charlean Richardson of Baltimore, MD; two sons, Ronald Richardson and Anthony Richardson both of Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Thelma Lynch of Chesapeake, VA, Emily Evans (Morris) of Battleboro, NC and Sandra Lynch of Rocky Mount, NC; two brothers, Coleman Richardson (Loretta) of Hollister, NC and Stanley Richardson (Curtee) of Enfield, NC; four grandchildren; a host nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
