William Alexander Taylor was born on April 27, 1957 to the late Carrie and James Glover in Rolesville, North Carolina. He was called up to the Lord on the evening of December 5, 2019 to be with his Lord and Savior.
William married the love of his life, Marie Taylor and they had three beautiful children together. William worked as a brick mason all his life, where he gathered the passion for building and working with his hands.
William was kind, loving and helpful to everyone around him. He cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, nicknaming them all based on their personalities.
He is survived by: his wife of thirty-eight years, Marie Taylor of the home; three children, William Taylor, Jr. (Tiffany) of Wake Forest, NC, Edward Taylor (Monica) of Raleigh, NC and Carissa Taylor of Rocky Mt., NC; six grandchildren, Jaden, Conner, Mya, Chase, Emilee and Alanna; his mother-in-law, Annie Mae Jones; five brothers, John Taylor (Vernia) of Wendell, NC, J.W. Taylor (Teresa) of Zebulon, NC, Charles Taylor of Franklinton, NC, David Taylor (Debbie) of Wendell, NC and Timothy Glover (Cynthia) of Zebulon, NC; three sisters, Rebecca Miller of Raleigh, NC, Margaret Ann Eaton (Percy) of Youngsville, NC and Joyce Ann Glover of Raleigh, NC; one son-in-law, Christopher Smith; two brothers-in-law, Mike and Ronnie Jones; a special brother-in-law, Percy Eaton; a host of nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
