Rayquan Octavis Burnette, was born October 23, 1996 in Durham, North Carolina to Lorenzo Smith and Rosa Burnette. In the early morning of October 16, 2019, he transitioned to be with the Lord at Maria Parham.
Rayquan received his education in the Franklin County Schools.
Rayquan joined Mitchiner’s Grove Baptist Church until health stopped him. Rayquan was able to cook for the governor of Raleigh, North Carolina. Rayquan also joined Angel Patrol under the direction of Gloria Stewart. He showed his expression through dance.
Rayquan leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Lorenzo Smith and his mother, Rosa Burnette; four sisters, Destiny, Tachante, Unique and Anarvia Burnette all of Louisburg, NC; five brothers, Javonn, Markett, Javion Burnette, Treshon Manson and Ricky Shipman all of Louisburg, NC; his grandparents, Mosheco Yarborough and Gloria Stewart; three nieces and six nephews; six uncles, Chepus, Burnette, Thomas, Chris, Mark, Josh; four aunts, Monique, Quenita, Fannie (Samuel) and Shirean; a host of great uncles and aunts; many other relatives and friends.
