In the early morning hours of June 19, 2018, the angel of silence entered the room of Priscilla Perry Williams at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her soul winged her flight from this earthly world to a peaceful dwelling of eternal rest. She was one of eight children born to the late Harry and Priscilla W. Perry on July 13, 1938.
Priscilla accepted Christ at an early age and joined Nelson Chapel Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member. She attended the Mapleville School.
Priscilla was affectionately called, “Cilla”, “Cilla Pop” and “Shorty Do Whop” by her brothers, nieces and nephews and “Honey” by her husband. Priscilla was united in holy matrimony to Jerry M. Williams on June 30, 1990.
Priscilla was employed for twenty-five years at Sun Terrace. She also worked at Ten X, as well as the family farm.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her only child, Lew A. Perry and six of her siblings, Alex, Fannie, Harry, Hubert, John and Louise.
She will be remembered by those who will treasure and commemorate the memory of her life including: her husband, Jerry Williams of the home; one brother, Eddie Perry (Ruthie) of Louisburg, NC; two stepsons, Jermaine Williams and Jerome Williams; six step grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Eldora Perry, Teresa Williams, Qwan Williams, Kathy Barrett (Will), Cynthia Jones, Sarah Foster (RoyLee), Betty Alston and Thelma Alston (Michael); brothers-in-law, Melvin Richardson (Priscilla), Joseph Richardson and David Richardson; a very special sister/friend, Margaret Boone; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
