John Clinton Fogg, Jr. was born April 16, 1941 to the late John Clinton Fogg, Sr. and Lurenza Gill Fogg. He departed this life on January 3, 2018.
He began his early education in the Franklin County schools in Louisburg, North Carolina and graduated from the Franklin County Training School. Upon graduation he joined the Air Force and served honorably for four years. He later retired as a truck driver after driving for thirty-years.
John had a great sense of humor and one of his favorite hobbies was playing golf. John enjoyed doing kind deeds for others and he was loved by many. He was a great friend to have, and he loved his family.
At an early age, John joined Allen Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful member.
John was married to Betty Fogg for forty-six years.
He is survived by: his wife, Betty Fogg of the home; sons, Dr. Carl Wardrett of Spartanburg, SC and Larry Joyner (Carolyn) of Louisburg, NC; sisters, Gracie Fogg Johnson (Sylvester) of Austin, TX, Peggy Fogg of Washington, DC, Brenda Fogg Cooley of Silver Spring, MD and Margaret Fogg Price (Joseph) of Raleigh, NC; brother, Eddie Fogg (Juanita) of Louisburg, NC; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; aunts, Juanita Eaton of Louisburg, NC, Mamie Brodie of Durham, NC and Margurie Hill of Louisburg, NC; his niece, Yvette Thomas; nephews, Corey Cooley, Joseph Price, Jr., Timothy Fogg and Dana Fogg; brothers-in-law, Louis Williams and John Joyner; sisters-in-law, Mary Williams, Gearldine Jones, Dorothy Tyson, Mae Belle Joyner and Lucy Joyner; a host of other relatives and friends.
