Inetta “Net” Evans, also known by many as “Lucy”, “Ma Net”, and “Tell It” was the daughter of the late Percy and Lennie Evans born April 20, 1933 in Blackridge, Virginia. She departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at The Wilson House in Wilson, North Carolina.
Inetta worked in housekeeping and as a caregiver for many years. She was always a help to anyone, and she loved to dip her snuff, and tell stuff- then she would say “I ain’t said nothing”
She was preceded in death by two sons, John Henry Evans and James “Joebuck” Evans, one grandson, Lavoris “Smokey” Ruffin, two sisters, Eva Brown and Gennie “Tennie” Evans and five brothers, Grover Cleveland Evans “Moonie”, Douglas “Bear” Evans, Larry Evans, Lonnie “Rabbit” Evans, and Percy “Bob” Evans.
Inetta leaves to cherish her love and memories: one sister, Barbara Evans of Castalia, North Carolina; two brothers, Tom Evans (Esterine) and Mike Evans (Lucy) both of Castalia, North Carolina; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Evans of Wilson, North Carolina; three granddaughters, Priscilla Evans of Wilson, North Carolina, Bonita Evans of Youngsville, North Carolina and Nicole Evans (Daryl) of Zebulon, North Carolina; five great grandchildren, Creshonda “Shannon” Evans, Sacorya “Corie” Evans (Jarrell) both of Raleigh, North Carolina, Drucilla Dew (Brandon) and Angelique Evans both of Wilson, North Carolina and Kayla Evans of Raleigh, North Carolina; nine great great grandchildren, Carter Evans and Cameron Davis both of Wilson, North Carolina, Jolique Evans, Kaiden Evans, and Winter Evans all of Wilson, North Carolina, Ke’mauri Dew, Ke’shi Dew, Ke’siyah Dew and Da’kote Bleu Dew all of Wilson, North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
