Georgia Marie Johnson Harvey, daughter of Elnora Johnson and the late Deacon Herbert Johnson, was born on May 7, 1969 in Halifax County, North Carolina. The Lord called her home on Monday, March 25, 2019. “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and to be loved. We are thankful for the life she lived and the love she gave. Now she has her wings and she’s free from the troubles of this world.”
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Hollister Chapel Baptist Church.
Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a joy to all who she encountered.
Georgia was preceded in death by her father, Deacon Herbert Johnson, one brother, Jerry Rome Johnson and one brother-in-law, Ross Marty Alston.
