Christine Crudup Person, daughter of the late Billie George Jackson Crudup and the late Earnestine Daniels Crudup, was born in Franklinton, North Carolina on May 5, 1931. She transitioned from this life to peace with our heavenly Father on April 18, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was educated in Franklin County, North Carolina. At an early age she joined Popes Chapel United Church of Christ and later joined First United Church of Christ where she was a faithful member until her health started to decline.
Christine was united in holy matrimony to Matthew A. Person, Jr. who preceded her in death. Her son, John Robert Crudup and brother, Clarence Crudup also preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her daughter, Linda Harris (James) of the home; two grandchildren, Sharon Chavis (Andrew) of Raleigh, North Carolina and Michael Edgerton (Ronica) of Greensboro, North Carolina; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; four brothers, Willie Crudup of Irvington, New Jersey, Earnest Crudup of Passaic, New Jersey, James Crudup of Newark, New Jersey and Alfonzo Crudup of Peachtree City, Georgia; six nieces and two nephews; one sister-in-law, Hattie Hall of Raleigh, North Carolina; a special granddaughter, Jazzmine Daye of Oxford, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.
